The World Boxing Association (WBA) has announced an updated ranking of boxers.
The rating is based on the boxers’ results in December 2025. The list includes eight boxers from Uzbekistan. Shakhram Giyasov, who worthily defends Uzbekistan’s honor in various competitions, retained the first place in the WBA welterweight ranking, and Bektemir Meliquziyev – the second place in the super middleweight. Otabek Kholmatov also took the third place in the featherweight division, Muhammad Shekhov – the same in the first featherweight division, and Murodjon Akhmadaliyev – the fourth place in the first featherweight division. Isroil Madrimov ranked sixth in the super welterweight division, and Hasanboy Dusmatov ranked seventh in the minimum weight category. Sirojbek Ismoilov, who competes in the lightweight division, ranked fifteenth.
