The upper house of parliament adopted relevant resolutions on all issues considered at the sixth plenary session, approved resolutions of the Council of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

16 issues, including 8 laws were considered at the sixth plenary session.

In particular, the senators considered and adopted the laws “On education”, “On employment of the population”, “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On private employment agencies”, “On combating trafficking in persons”, “On introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the procedure for the passage of military service by citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “On introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with further improvement of the process of lawmaking and parliamentary control” and “On the administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

Senators also heard the information from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Internal Affairs, Minister of Employment and Labor Relations, as well as a government report on the implementation of the state program.
