Tashkent hosted a workshop on scientific startup projects on “Science, technology and innovation” during the visit to Uzbekistan of the delegation led by the Senior Advisor to the President of the Islamic Development Bank Dr. Hayat Sindi.

It was attended by young scientists, inventors and experts.

A number of projects are being successfully implemented in Uzbekistan together with the Islamic Development Bank, including projects that are implemented jointly with the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan on assistance to the Aral region, widespread use of scientific achievements in the agricultural sector.

At the workshop, reports on attracting investment, business planning, marketing and communication technologies were heard. Master classes on business and innovative ideas were conducted.

The Transformers Roadshow science and innovation competition was held within the framework of the event. Its main goal is to identify researchers seeking financial assistance, partners, managers and new business opportunities, as well as development of science, technology and innovation in the Islamic Development Bank member countries.
