Today, the ancient and eternally young Samarkand, where about ten major conferences, forums, and other international meetings took place over the past week, hosts several more events.

In Samarkand, the International Tourist Center hosts the World Triathlon Cup Samarkand 2024 and World Triathlon Para Cup Samarkand 2024. The championship of Uzbekistan and the forum of the Asian Triathlon Confederation – Congress of the Central Asian Triathlon Association is held as part of the competition.

Delegations from 60 countries and officials of the International Triathlon Federation will participate in the events. Specialists will conduct workshops, supervise the technical support of the competition, referee, and participate in the press conference.

270 athletes from 52 countries will compete. This is another opportunity for athletes to qualify for the Paris Olympics.

Uzbekistan’s 20 athletes will defend the country’s honor. 218 sets of medals will be awarded.
