Samarkand hosts an International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament
The International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament “East Cup & Olympic Stars” took place at the Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School for Team Sports and Athletics in Samarkand.
More than 400 gymnasts from Uzbekistan, Belarus, Spain, Russia, Türkiye, China, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan took part in the competition.
The participants demonstrated their skills in individual and group exercises with maces and a ball.
This tournament was previously held in Russia and China, and it is being held in Samarkand for the first time.
The competitions aim to select talented gymnasts for the national team and prepare them for the upcoming Asian and World Championships.
The event also included masterclasses for gymnasts.
