Cooperation has been established between the two oldest universities of Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ukraine, cooperation has been established between the two oldest universities of Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

During the videoconference, rectors of Samarkand State University Rustam Kholmuradov and Lviv Polytechnic National University Yurii Bobalo have signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement and discussed practical details of the project.

According to the agreement reached, the universities of the two countries, from the next academic year, intend to introduce a double degree program in IT-technologies, geodesy, management at Samarkand State University.

The parties also agreed, as the next stage, to consider the possibility of opening a branch of Lviv Polytechnic National University in Samarkand.
