Milan hosted the 75th International Astronautical Congress (IAC).

More than 11,000 participants from 120 countries attended this global forum, including heads of space agencies and international organizations, scientific and educational centers, and representatives of the worldwide space community. This year, the event was held under the motto “Responsible Space for Sustainability”.

Representatives of the Uzbekspace Agency also actively participated in several important congress events. In particular, they made a special statement at the summit of leaders of the International Astronautical Federation.

In addition, members of the Uzbekistan delegation presented a scientific report on “Innovative Methods of Remote Sensing of the Earth”, developed to identify and monitor the dynamics of changes on the surface of our planet.

At the same time, as part of the forum, agency representatives held more than 30 meetings with the heads of several prominent foreign organizations.

During the global forum, views were exchanged on further strengthening bilateral cooperation with several space agencies and private companies to implement space projects.

At the same time, at the International Astronautical Congress, representatives of the Uzbekspace Agency discussed important recommendations and mutually beneficial proposals for creating a national space system for remote sensing of the Earth with the Azerbaijan Space Agency.
