Tashkent hosted the awarding ceremony of “Ehtirom” award winners in the field of culture and art of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the world of music, dance, theater, cinema, professors, teachers of higher education institutions in the field of arts, talented youth were invited to the event.

The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan B.Sayfullayev and others noted that large-scale reforms in the sphere of culture and art in the country serve such goals as development of youth spirituality, comprehensive support for labor of creative people, glorification of the rich national heritage.

In 2018, many festivals promoting national culture and art, competitions, international projects on demonstrating the rich musical heritage were successfully held. At the same time, significant activities were implemented on protection, scientific study and using cultural heritage.

At the event, more than thirty of our compatriots, who actively and selflessly worked in various areas of art and culture were awarded in various nominations.
