The Director of the National Agency for Social Protection Mansurbek Allayorov met with the head of the representative office of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Ali Rıza Tezcan.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in social protection and focused on ongoing projects. In particular, in December 2024, TİKA completed a project to equip the Muruvvat Boarding School for disabled children in Fergana region with modern rehabilitation equipment. The Director of the Agency expressed his gratitude to the representatives of TİKA for this vital initiative.

The use of Türkiye’s best practices in this area and the implementation of joint projects aimed at developing social services for children with disabilities were discussed at the meeting.

The parties agreed to send social workers to Türkiye to improve their skills, considering Türkiye’s rich experience in social protection and common cultural values with Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to strengthen cooperation in social protection and the implementation of new projects.
