Tashkent hosted an international scientific-practical conference on “Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in modeling international socio-economic processes – BDAIM 2025”, organized jointly with the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.

The event brought together more than 60 scientists, experts, and practitioners from Uzbekistan, Russia, and China to discuss the prospects for the digital transformation of the economy, education, law, and international relations, as well as the use of advanced artificial intelligence technologies and big data analysis.

The combined efforts of experts and practitioners have led not only to the exchange of best practices, but also to identifying areas of joint research and ways to implement practical solutions at the intersection of economics, technology, and sustainable development.

Special attention was paid to the issues of ethical and legal regulation of artificial intelligence, forecasting global risks, introducing intelligent systems into the education system, and mathematical and econometric analysis of sustainable development. Thanks to the interdisciplinary approach, the conference made it possible to combine scientific and practical methods in solving complex situations related to economics, digital technologies, and international cooperation.

The event’s program included a plenary session with the participation of leading scientists and practitioners and scientific sessions. More than 50 scientific reports were heard within their framework.

As noted, the conference became one of the significant steps towards strengthening scientific ties and forming a global community focused on the responsible and innovative use of artificial intelligence and big data.
