The Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with the UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan Sabine Machl. At the meeting, attention was paid to the issue of achieving sustainable development through digital technologies.

According to the Ministry of Digital Technologies, information was given about the United Nations Public Service Forum, which is planned to be held in 2025 in Samarkand. It was noted that holding this forum for the first time in Uzbekistan will help accelerate the digital transformation.

One of the priority tasks is the creation of profitable jobs for young people in the IT sector.

Ms. Sabine Machl noted the readiness to support Uzbekistan’s achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals through digital technologies and continue cooperation with Uzbekistan in this direction.
