A delegation from China’s Guizhou province visited the Yangiyer branch of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in education, science, and innovation.

An agreement was reached to implement a student exchange program and to expand research and cultural collaboration.
The sides also agreed to establish a system for training mid-level specialists at the branch’s technical colleges, expand the activities of the Uzbekistan – China workshops, and enhance the educational process through modern technologies.

It was announced that a Chinese technopark will be built on the branch’s campus. The facility will serve as a hub integrating innovation, scientific research, and production, allowing students to gain practical skills through a dual education system.

“The signed agreements open new opportunities for the Yangiyer branch. These projects will not only improve the quality of education and strengthen the university’s scientific capacity but also help introduce advanced Chinese technologies and expertise into practice”, said Zafar Hakimov, Director of the branch.

Following the meeting, memorandums were signed to establish a special project office within the INNO innovative educational and industrial technopark.
