The Hokim of Yangiyul district in Tashkent region met with a delegation from Meraque Group Sdn. Bhd., a leading Malaysian company specializing in advanced agricultural technologies.

At the meeting, held under the leadership of the company’s CEO, Razalee Ismail, the parties discussed the practical implementation of the agreement signed in February 2024 with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The agreement focuses on the localization of production for smart agricultural machinery and drones.

Such an advanced approach significantly reduces labor costs and increases productivity. The introduction of modern technologies enables higher crop yields, enhances the agricultural sector’s overall efficiency, and strengthens its competitiveness in the international market.

Guests were shown the vegetable cultivation process at the event. Then, members of the Malaysian delegation were introduced to the conditions created for businesses in the Tinchlik Small Industrial Zone, as well as the existing infrastructure and development opportunities available there.
