For the first time, in order to ensure the full guarantee of the rights of voters in the electoral legislation of Uzbekistan, an opportunity has been created for prisoners, who have not committed particularly serious crimes, to participate in the electoral process.

According to the principle of humanism provided for in the new Electoral Code, prisoners used their electoral rights and voted in the pre-trial detention center No.10 of Fergana. Here, prisoners have all the necessary conditions for voting.
