Prime Minister of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, accompanied by Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Interaction with Public and Religious Organizations Muzaffar Komilov and Minister of Culture and Tourism Ozodbek Nazarbekov visited the Memorial Complex of Imam Al-Bukhari in Samarkand. The foreign guest became familiar with the progress of reconstruction activities.

According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani gave his recommendations on preserving the historical significance of the building and further enriching the museum as part of the complex where the heritage of the great scientist is kept.

He stressed that today Qatar is also concerned about the increased attacks on national values caused by the rapid development of information technology and the importance of developing effective measures.
