President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, accompanied by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has visited Technology Park in Tashkent.

This modern complex was established under the Presidential Resolution of May 1, 2019 “On measures for further development of industrial cooperation and expansion of production of popular products”. 17 projects worth $365 million are being implemented here.

The President of Kyrgyzstan was informed about products manufactured at technopark’s enterprises, including household appliances, electronic gas meters, elevators, water pumps, industrial air conditioners and refrigeration equipment.

The Heads of the state became familiar with the exhibition of industrial, agricultural and handicraft products of Uzbekistan. The exhibition presents more than a thousand types of products manufactured by 24 industries and 14 regions of Uzbekistan.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that Kyrgyzstan also has a high industrial potential, for the implementation of which Uzbekistan is ready to organize cooperation and share experience. The heads of the industries were instructed to establish close cooperation with their Kyrgyz colleagues and take measures to implement joint projects.

On behalf of the people of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan received a gift of ambulances produced in Uzbekistan. Sadyr Zhaparov expressed gratitude for the commitment to the bonds of brotherhood and good-neighborly relations and the constant assistance and support provided by Uzbekistan.

The industrial potential, wide range and quality of Uzbekistan’s products made a great impression on the guests.
