A student of Presidential School in Tashkent Muhammadrizo Majidov became a member of Uzbekistan national team that will attend the 61st International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

A student of Presidential School in Tashkent Muhammadrizo Majidov became a member of Uzbekistan national team that will attend the 61st International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

On August 17-18, national team members were selected for the Olympiad. Participants who scored the most points became members of Uzbekistan national team.

Uzbekistan national team consists of 6 people. The 9th grader of Presidential School in Tashkent Muhammadrizo Majidov is also among them. He is the youngest member of Uzbekistan national team.

The 61st International Mathematical Olympiad was supposed to be held in Saint Petersburg on September 21-22, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Olympiad will be held online for three days.

4.5 hours are allocated for three tasks. Participants can get up to seven points for each task. IMO results will be announced on September 28.
