On the occasion of the New Year celebration, it has become a good tradition to present children with gifts from the Head of state. These days, New Year’s surprises are delivered locally.

Gifts intended for children from Samarkand were met at the local airport by responsible officials of the Regional Hokimiyat and public representatives.

These gifts will be distributed among 872 children from orphanages, SOS mahallas, orphans, those who have lost their breadwinners, as well as children of military personnel and law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.

New Year’s gifts will be given to children during the Presidential New Year tree celebrations, which will take place in cities and districts of the region.
