These days, tourism officials and entrepreneurs from Samarkand region are participating in the Uzbekistan – Indonesia Forum in Jakarta.

At the forum, Deputy Hokim of the region R. Kobilov delivered a presentation on Samarkand’s tourism potential and the opportunities and benefits available to foreign tourists.

G2B meetings were held with the participation of the regional Department of Investments, Industry, and Trade, as well as leading Indonesian entrepreneurs.

More than 200 company representatives, government agencies, and financial institutions participated in the forum. Productive discussions regarding cooperation in the construction sector were held with the leadership of Neo CapitaRealty. Proposals were put forward at the forum to build residential complexes in the city of Samarkand as part of the Shirin Smart City project.

At a meeting with representatives of Situmorang & Partners Lawyers, an agreement was reached to assist in obtaining the licenses and certifications necessary for exporting products produced by entrepreneurs from Samarkand.
