On January 24-27, 2026, Tashkent will host the 46th OCA General Assembly.
The organization of the event at a high level was discussed at a meeting devoted to preparations. The event will be attended by more than 350 sports executives from almost 45 Asian countries, dozens of representatives of international sports organizations, and members of the IOC Executive Board.
At a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee, as well as responsible officials of sports federations and associations, special emphasis was placed on financing international events in accordance with established requirements, targeted and effective use of allocated funds, as well as strengthening control over these processes.
In addition, priority tasks were identified to coordinate organizational processes and security issues.
