Practical applications of space technologies

Uzbekistan is creating more opportunities to use space technologies.

As part of the 77th International Astronautical Congress, the Uzbekistan Space Research and Technology Agency and STAR.VISION signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, Uzbekistan Space Research and Technology Agency Director Shukhrat Qodirov, and STAR. VISION Executive Director Danyin Fan attended the signing ceremony.

The document provides for cooperation in testing and developing practical solutions based on data from the Samarkand 2028 satellite. 

Under the memorandum, the parties plan to explore practical applications for hyperspectral data, support research and test new technologies, with particular attention to commercializing the results. 

Experts note that cooperation with STAR.VISION will create new opportunities for the effective use of space technologies and satellite data.
