Employees of the Management Efficiency Agency and the internal anti-corruption control departments of some ministries and departments participated in a Summer School organized in Latvia.

The classes for the participants were conducted by representatives of Latvian organizations responsible for state financial control, accounting, and management of state property, investments, industry development, free economic zones, customs regulation, local government activities, combating corruption, and ensuring transparency.

The Summer School is organized within the framework of the project “Improving Governance in Uzbekistan – inclusive prevention of corruption”, implemented by the Central Finance and Contracting Agency of Latvia with financial support from the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany. It became the first training platform in Europe for representatives of the internal anti-corruption control service.

Based on concrete practical examples, the participants studied the issues of preventing and eliminating corruption in government agencies and organizations, as well as the regulation of these processes by regulatory documents.
