The International Festival “Oriental Bazaar in Kazan” will take place on November 25-30.

The event is attended by art masters, artists, and tour operators from Karakalpakstan. On November 26, the “Friendship” concert program will be presented, with the participation of art masters from Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan, as well as the Karakalpak State National Folklore Ensemble “Aikulash”.

The event will also include an exhibition of Karakalpak artists. The playwright performance “Four Grooms of One Girl” by T. Minnullin will be shown at the Kazan State Institute of Culture.

The Uzbekistan delegation members will participate in official meetings to expand cooperation between Karakalpakstan and Tatarstan in tourism, culture, and education, strengthen comprehensive ties with Tatarstan to exchange experience, and participate in the international conference “Cultural Ties of the Peoples of Asia and the East”.

Tatarstan will also celebrate the 200th anniversary of the great Karakalpak poet Ajiniyaz Qosibay Uly. On November 30, the “Aikulash” ensemble will perform at a gala concert timed to the closing ceremony.
