Opening of the Academic Department Branch at the Federation to connect education and practice
On 6 July 2026, the Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan hosted an official opening ceremony for a branch of the Faculty of Business Law and Judicial Protection of Tashkent State University of Law.
The event was attended by the Federation Chairman Jahongir Sarimsoqov and the Rector of Tashkent State University of Law Bakhshillo Khodjayev.

The Academic Department branch will support the scientific and practical exploration of civil-law relations related to consumer rights protection, enhance students’ professional skills, promote legal awareness initiatives, and conduct scientific and analytical research.

Within the branch, plans include reviewing appeals, resolving contractual disputes, managing pre-trial settlement and mediation, studying litigation practices, analyzing legislative implementation, and developing scientific and practical proposals to enhance law enforcement.

Additionally, the branch will regularly organize clinical seminars, practical case studies, roundtable discussions, and legal awareness events involving university faculty, students, and Federation specialists. A key goal is to extensively incorporate practical training, internships, and dual-education elements into the curriculum, while updating courses to meet sector needs.
