The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva met with the Deputy President of the Senate of the Malaysian Parliament Nur Jazlan Mohamed.

At the meeting in Tashkent, the guest acknowledged that, as a result of large-scale reforms, the investment environment in Uzbekistan has improved. In turn, issues of the widespread use of the institution of parliament in expanding cooperation in this area and further tasks were discussed.

Views were also exchanged on the joint implementation of research projects to study and develop Islamic civilization, considering historical values.

During the dialogue, an agreement was reached on developing relations in the tourism, trade, and economic spheres and holding cultural events that unite the peoples of the two countries.
