Two athletes from Uzbekistan are included in the TOP 100 best chess players in the monthly rating of the FIDE International Chess Federation. The number one chess player of Uzbekistan, the youngest world champion in rapid chess Nodirbek Abdusattarov leads in the ranking with 2661 rating points in 80th place (last month – in 74th place). Rustam Kasimjanov ranks 82nd with 2659 rating points.
The list of the 100 strongest young chess players currently includes 4 of our compatriots: Nodirbek Abdusattarov, Nodirbek Yokubboyev, Javokhir Sindorov and Shamsiddin Vohidov. Only Nodirbek Abdusattarov is among the hundred best in rapid chess: he takes 37th place with 2670 points.
Rustam Kasimjanov, Nodirbek Abdusattarov and Javokhir Sindorov are included in the TOP 100 strongest in blitz.
