Advisor to the Chairman of the Uzbekipaksanoat Association, Ms. Yokut Schmid, is working in collaboration with the Khiva Silk Fabric enterprise, located in Khorezm region, as an experiment to create new products obtained by processing waste from silkworm cocoons.

According to the Uzbekipaksanoat Association, products created from cocoon waste are in great demand in European markets.

For this reason, textile industry specialists who arrived from Switzerland got acquainted with this project and the activities of the Khiva Silk Fabric enterprise and expressed their positive opinions on it.

In particular, Uzbek silk products made a good impression on the guests, and they highly appreciated them.
