New directions for improving service quality
Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan to improve public administration, held a scientific and practical workshop on “The basics and strategy for development of public services”.
On December 16-20, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan to improve public administration, held a scientific and practical workshop on “The basics and strategy for development of public services”.
It was attended by specialists from public service centers of all regions, employees of organizations and agencies providing public services.
On the first day of the workshop, over 130 participants heard presentations by members of the delegation of the UAE, an expert group from among the leading specialists in public administration, who arrived in Uzbekistan to further enhance the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation.
At the workshop, detailed information was provided on the basics, techniques and strategies needed to provide the population with modern, convenient and efficient public services.
Such important issues as phased development and implementation of programs aimed at developing the sphere, finding ways to improve the quality of services, creative thinking, constant striving for something new, ensuring the priority of the “satisfied customer” principle, determining effective criteria for monitoring and evaluating services, widespread introduction of modern information technologies in the field were discussed.
Following the workshop, participants were awarded certificates.
