A delegation led by the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, is visiting the United States.

Negotiations are underway with the heads of large companies, corporations, and industrial associations operating in the mining, food, and hospitality industries. The delegation becomes familiar with investment proposals and business conditions created in Uzbekistan.

The parties signed a Cooperation Agreement in the field of minerals. A plan has been developed to invest in the exploration and production of minerals, the construction of high-tech crushing complexes, the introduction of innovative technologies, the creation of added value for important types of raw materials, and the training of Uzbekistan specialists. New projects in the tourism sector were discussed, and deadlines for the construction of hotels were set. The agreements are fixed by the relevant contracts. A responsible manager has been appointed for each initiative.
