The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Benelux countries jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of Netherlands will organize a workshop on agricultural sector opportunities of Uzbekistan, in Almere.

On December 11, 2018, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Benelux countries jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of Netherlands will organize a workshop on agricultural sector opportunities of Uzbekistan in Almere, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The workshop is aimed at informing participants working in agro-food sector about events and opportunities in Uzbekistan. In addition, participants will be informed about plans of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality on sending Netherlands agricultural trade mission to Tashkent in March 2019 and organizing the Netherlands pavilion at one of the most important agricultural fairs in Tashkent in June 2019.

The workshop will allow to establish contacts with leading producers of Netherlands – a country considered to be locomotive in production of meat and dairy products in the world, as well as, to become acquainted with innovative technologies used in processing raw materials intended for production of food products.
