A great deal of work being carried out in this country to support self-governing bodies and to strengthen the place of the neighbourhood institution in social administration is giving high results.

In Navoiy Region, too, special attention is being paid to the construction of modern buildings for neighbourhood citizens’ gatherings and the provision of necessary furniture and computer equipment for them.

“About 5 thousand people live in our neighbourhood. On the eve of the New Year holiday, a two-storey apartment house consisting of 32 apartments and 46 houses consisting of three rooms each and with adjacent territories of 200 square metres were built on the basis of updated standard projects. These were real holiday gifts for people of our neighbourhood,” says Said Sharipov, the chairman of this neighbourhood citizens’ gathering.

All the necessary conveniences have been created in the neighbourhood’s office building that was built by workers of the Navoiy TYAS Invest LLC. In this new building, there are separate rooms for the neighbourhood’s chairman, his secretary, advisor for such issues as religious enlightenment and moral education, guards, territorial inspector for offence prevention and a representative of the district department of defence. Its cosy conference hall has also been provided with all the necessary equipment and furniture.
