
The final bouts of the Women’s World Boxing Championship will take place today in Niš, Serbia.
Uzbekistan’s Navbakhor Khamidova has reached the championship final. She will enter the ring competing for the gold medal in the -66 kg weight category against Busenaz Sürmeneli from Türkiye.
The boxers participated in a face-off ceremony yesterday before the championship finals.
Boxers who were eliminated in the quarterfinals received cash prizes of $10,000. Uzbekistan’s Sitora Turdibekova, Sokhiba Ruzmetova, Nigina Uktamova, and Aziza Zokirova were among them.

It should be noted that the gold medalists of the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships will be awarded a cash prize of $100,000. Silver medalists will receive $50,000, and bronze medalists will receive $25,000. For the first time in the competition, all athletes who reach the quarterfinals will be awarded $10,000 each.
