The National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan will establish cooperation with one of the oldest universities in Canada, Dalhousie University.

Chairman of the National Chamber Rovshan Izamov held talks with the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University, Benjamin Davis. R. Izamov noted that the main goal of the new partnership is to improve the qualifications of dentists in Uzbekistan. The National Chamber will supervise partner projects.

Mr. Benjamin Davis noted that representatives of Dalhousie University are working to improve international relations, to provide quality education to specialists in different countries of the world.

The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation, including the organization of lectures for students, residents, and medical practitioners using telemedicine, masterclasses, educational conferences. They plan to organize courses to improve the qualifications of doctors, introduce international accreditation of Tashkent State Dental Institute, which is the most dynamically developing university. At the end of 2020, its branch was opened in Spain.
