Two video stories about the cultural and tourism potential of the ancient cities of Uzbekistan – Bukhara and Khiva – were broadcast on the My Planet TV channel.

The TV channel’s creative team prepared the videos as part of a visit organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow and the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan in May 2024.

The program “One Day in the City” is a unique video guide that helps the audience fall in love with unfamiliar cities in just one day. The TV channel's columnist, Diana Jalalova, visited Bukhara and Khiva to share with the audience the most intriguing and culturally rich sights of these historic cities, inviting them to explore and discover the unique charm of Bukhara and Khiva.

In her stories, Diana Jalalova details what is definitely worth seeing, what souvenirs to buy, and what culinary delights to try without spending a lot of time and money. Special attention is paid to the unique atmosphere of Bukhara, which immerses tourists in the medieval East at first glance, as well as the beauty of Khiva, the first UNESCO-listed city in Uzbekistan.
