Muqimi historical film was shot by the order of Uzbekkino National Agency.

The film is directed by Fotih Jalolov. It tells about the life and work of a humanist, poet Muhammad Muqimi.

The film covers in detail the era in which Muqimi lived and worked, the literary environment of Kokand and the poet’s creativity, permeated with the call for freedom.

The scriptwriter is Rustam Jabborov, film director – Fotih Jalolov, operator-director – Muzaffar Yusupov. Production designer Alisher Umrzokov, costume designer – Anastasia Reim, composer – Toir Quziyev, production manager – Shakhnoza Sirojiddinova.

The film stars Ulugbek Rustamov, Egamberdi Rakhimov, Adiz Rajabov, Bobur Yuldoshev, Marifat Ortikova, Gulrukh Pirnazarova and others.
