Multimodal transportation through the Trans-Afghan Corridor to be developed
According to the Ministry of Transport, the Uzbekistan delegation visited the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the Ministry of Communications, Railways, Shipping, the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan, and such large transport and logistics companies as NLC-Logistics and TCS.
During the discussion, cooperation between Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan was outlined to develop multimodal transport through the Trans-Afghan corridor, reduce fees, facilitate goods transportation, and accelerate the Uzbekistan -Afghanistan – Pakistan railway construction project.
