Hokim of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov met with the leadership of China’s Jiangsu Suhao Urban Renewal Co., Ltd.

During the conversation, it was noted that strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China has been steadily developing over the past few years. As a result of visits and meetings between heads of state, ties at all levels have been strengthened and elevated. It was also emphasized that major investment projects are being implemented in Bukhara region in cooperation with Chinese partners.

The company director proposed initiatives for investment in the deep processing of cocoons, the textile industry, the production of construction materials, the construction of residential complexes, tourism, and the restoration of cultural heritage sites.

The regional hokim emphasized that these projects are of significant importance to the local economy and job creation. He highly appreciated all the investors’ initiatives, expressed support for the projects, and stressed the need for their speedy implementation.
