A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, Togmidyn Dorjkhand, visited Tashkent region’s Yuqori Chirchiq district.

The visit aims to study the development of Uzbekistan’s renewable energy sources and the ongoing reforms in this area.

According to the Ministry of Energy, the members of the delegation became familiar with the work of the solar photovoltaic plant, which has a capacity of 200 MW and was built by ACWA Power.

The head of ACWA Power in Uzbekistan, Jon Zaidi, informed about investment projects in Uzbekistan.

The visit aims to strengthen international cooperation in the energy sector.
