Usman Sharifkhodjayev, Deputy Director of the National Social Protection Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with the Senior Advisor of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Omer Fisher.

At the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas for protecting the rights of vulnerable populations, including combating gender-based and domestic violence. The planned activities within the National Action Plan for implementing the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and advancing new initiatives were reviewed. An agreement was reached to develop cooperation.
