Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhobov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Uzbekistan Thamer Fathi Abdussalam Hammad.

Current issues of enhancing cooperation in trade-economic, investment and industrial spheres were discussed during the talks. The parties exchanged views on the prospects of implementing projects in the jewelry, textile and honey industries.

There are 15 enterprises in Uzbekistan with Egyptian capital. Uzbekistan – Egypt Business Forum and a B2B meeting will be held in February as part of the visit of the delegation from Egypt to Uzbekistan.  It is expected that representatives of leading enterprises specializing in trade, chemistry, construction, production of building materials, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consulting services, metallurgy, logistics, electrical engineering, and the leather industry will participate in the event.
