The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade hosted a meeting with Export-Import Bank of Korea delegation led by the Bank’s Auditor Cho Yong-Soon.

The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade hosted a meeting with Export-Import Bank of Korea delegation led by the Bank’s Auditor Cho Yong-Soon. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The parties noted the high level of interest of business circles of both countries in development of bilateral cooperation, discussed the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, a Protocol of Cooperation was signed under the project on equipping with medical equipment of a number of regional medical institutions for 74 million USD. The main objective of the project is modernization of more than 150 medical institutions in the regions of the country mainly in remote and rural areas with modern high-tech equipment, auxiliary medical materials and tools for improving the quality of services.
