Uzbekistan is strengthening cooperation with several prestigious organizations to develop the pharmaceutical industry and introduce international best practices in this area.

The Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency held a meeting with representatives of IQVIA, a global leader in monitoring the pharmaceutical market, researching innovative medicines, and optimizing healthcare processes.

Issues related to the development of clinical research, the introduction of training programs in this field in Uzbekistan, and the improvement of certification processes in line with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) standards were discussed at the meeting.

IQVIA presented its experience with the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and offered suggestions for adapting it to the national system.

A comparative analysis of current areas of clinical research and international experience was also conducted.
