Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Senior Political and Communication Advisor of the President of the European Council Paweł Graś, in Brussels.

On November 11, 2019, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Senior Political and Communication Advisor of the President of the European Council Paweł Graś, in Brussels.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the sides discussed cooperation prospects between Uzbekistan and the EU in various spheres and formats.

Both sides’ readiness to strengthen bilateral political ties, inter-parliamentary contacts, including between the Oliy Majlis and parliaments of the EU member states through mutual exchange of delegations and experience in lawmaking, as well as information-analytical materials contributing to improve the efficiency of parliamentary activities was noted.

In this context, special attention was paid to participation of representatives of EU structures in the upcoming parliamentary elections as international observers.

Other issues on the general agenda were also considered at the meeting.
