The Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan has organized the First Forum of Medical Volunteers.

The main goal of the event is to develop the volunteer movement in medicine.

The forum was attended by Deputy Minister of Health A. Azizov, Chairman of the Central Council of Uzbekistan Youth Union A. Jumabayev, Tashkent City Deputy Hokim D. Rakhimova and Director of Ziyo Forum International Fund for Science and Education Development B. Farmanov.

It was also attended by coordinators of “Uzbekistan Medical Volunteers”, “Phenomenon of Uzbekistan” and “Breathe, Uzbekistan!” projects who are engaged in volunteer activities in medicine.

Participants took part in master classes on first aid, hygiene of oral cavity, proper bandaging and artificial respiration.
