Andijan Machine-Building Institute hosted the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Mechatronics and robotics: Problems and development prospects”.

The conference, which was held within the framework of the project “Modernization of educational programs in mechatronics and robotics in Uzbekistan based on innovative ideas and digital technologies”, funded by the European Union, was attended by about 50 professors, teachers, doctoral students, independent researchers and masters working in prestigious education institutions in Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Greece, and Uzbekistan. The work carried out within the project, the results achieved, and problems in this direction were discussed in detail.

Participants noted that in recent years, large-scale work has been carried out in Uzbekistan to develop training in mechatronics and robotics, and the project, implemented jointly with higher education institutions in several foreign countries, helps to improve the level of education in this area in Andijan.

The participants expressed suggestions, recommendations, and opinions on improving the effectiveness of lectures and ongoing design and research work.

During the discussions, the results of ongoing scientific research were analyzed, and views were exchanged on achievements and problems awaiting solutions.
