As part of the visit by a delegation from the international research centers of Imam Maturidi and Imam Bukhari to Malaysia, a meeting was held at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC).

At the meeting, Berghout Abdelaziz, ISTAC Director, highly praised the results of ongoing reforms in New Uzbekistan. 

The institute’s Director proposed holding a roundtable discussion with international research centers in Uzbekistan to foster academic exchange and collaboration. 

Berghout Abdelaziz expressed a strong interest in utilizing the institute’s resources to organize exhibitions, scientific seminars, and presentations for the local academic community. These initiatives aim to showcase Uzbekistan’s rich and ancient history and its potential for pilgrimage tourism.
