Termez International Trade Center on the Uzbekistan – Afghanistan border hosts an exhibition fair “Made in Uzbekistan”.

It involves more than 200 manufacturers of textiles, leather shoes, the food industry, household chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and building materials from the regions of Uzbekistan and over 30 entrepreneurs from Afghanistan.

A meeting of businesspeople from the two countries took place. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Surkhandarya regional branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Balkh Regional Chamber of Commerce and Investment of Afghanistan to expand cooperation.

The fair will run until April 12 and will facilitate the entry of Uzbekistan’s manufacturers into the Afghanistan market, the search for new partners, and conclude mutually beneficial agreements.
