The Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov received the first Ambassador of Luxembourg to Uzbekistan, Tom Reisen.

At the meeting, Bakhtiyor Saidov noted that the two countries’ foreign ministries have much to do to open up new opportunities for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Luxembourg. He also congratulated Tom Reisen on his appointment.

The development of business ties, trade facilitation, strengthening the legal framework of partnership and other issues were discussed at the meeting.

Uzbekistan and Luxembourg established diplomatic relations on June 10, 1992.
