Various international organizations are looking forward to the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local Councils, which will be held on October 27, 2024. Their representatives are becoming familiar with the preparations for the elections.

In particular, long-term observers of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights visited Andijan region.

Long-term observers Iris O'Rourke and Vincent Godbillon visited Andijan Regional Territorial Election Commission.

Foreign observers met with the Сhairman of Andijan Regional Territorial Election Commission Bakhtiyor Rasulov and talked about preparations for the elections, specifics of the elections, territorial election commission’s activities, workshops and trainings conducted to expand knowledge on the elections of responsible persons of polling stations.

Then, the foreign observers got acquainted with the activities of the territorial commission, its members, and the conditions in the press center.

The work of the foreign observer mission in Andijan region continues.
