London hosts World Para Swimming Championships.

The 4th year student of Karshi State University Shokhsanam Toshpulatova, who performed in 100 meters butterfly stroke, defeated all her rivals in the finals. She won the first gold of the World Championships. 

According to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Sh. Toshpulatova updated Asian Record with 1 minute 3.89 seconds result.

Prior to that, Shokhsanam Toshpulatova won a bronze in hundred-meter freestyle.
